Dr. Krysta Thompson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Dr. Krysta Thompson, owner of Premier Family Health and Wellness, graduated from Alvin Community College in 2007 with an Associate of Science degree in Nursing, earned her Master of Science Nursing degree at Chamberlain University in 2019, and graduated with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Aspen University in 2022. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Texas DNP, and National Nurse Practitioner Entrepeneur Network, and serves as President of Brazosport Area Nurse Practitioners. Krysta’s professional background includes Emergency Medicine, pediatric endocrinology, Urgent Care, and Primary Care. It is Krysta’s goal to provide compassionate, whole-system care while helping her patients thrive throughout their lifespan. It is her dream to be able to provide whole care to the whole family for as many Brazoria county residents and beyond as possible! She believes in teamwork and communication between the patient and their providers in order to maximize the patient's health. In her limited free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, Lincoln and Lawson; staying involved in multiple church activities; and cheering for the Astros as loudly as possible!
